Tteokbokki is a must-try food when you come to Korea. Enjoy it at Yongsan I-Park Mall

Author's Note

Most Koreans love spicy food.

Even if you are Korean, there are some people who can't eat spicy food well.

Therefore, restaurants often offer different levels of spiciness.

Nowadays, there are many more types of spicy food.

One of the favorite foods of Koreans is Tteokbokki.

Tteokbokki is rice cakes simmered in a spicy sauce.

Tteok is made of rice and is chewy. It is flavored with spicy chili sauce, sugar, garlic, pepper, and various vegetables.

The flavor of the sauce determines the flavor of the tteokbokki.

The flavor of the sauce varies from restaurant to restaurant.

Today, we recommend the 'Namdo Bunsik' located at Yongsan I-Park.

'Namdo' means the southern part of Korea, and 'bunsik' means casual food.

'Namdo Bunsik' offers a collection of famous foods from the southern region of Korea, so you can taste local specialties.

The menu includes fried lettuce, bibim dangmyeon, flat dumplings, and kimbap ssam.

You can also enjoy tteokbokki (rice cakes) and other simple Korean favorites.

For spiciness, you can eat it at level 1. I usually eat it on step 2.

The bean sprouts give it a cool flavor, and the crunchy texture goes well with the rice cakes.

- Fried lettuce: Tempura is wrapped in lettuce and served with various types of tempura (squid, seaweed rolls, sweet potatoes, dumplings, Pork Cutlet etc.), sesame leaves, and lettuce.

 Tempura and vegetable

The tempura is dipped in pickled onion soy sauce and wrapped in vegetables, which is unexpectedly delicious. The tempura and raw vegetables go well together. The portion is quite large.

- Flat Dumplings: These are very flat dumplings that are fried in oil.

- Kimbap ssam: Korean-style sushi wrapped with vegetables.

- Bibimdangmyeon: Vermicelli noodles tossed in a spicy sauce.

- The staff is friendly and the service is fast.

- The store is quite spacious and comfortable.

- Parking is available (2 hours)
